Animal HealthThe Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry provides Animal Health services to livestock farmers through the VET and Livestock Development Unit of the Division of Agriculture. These services are provided through our team of capable and professional livestock officers stationed throughout our seven agricultural regions and led by the Chief Veterinarian. Animal Health services provided include: diagnosing and treating of sick animals suffering from parasite infestation,infections, and other health related issues; ante and post-mortem inspection; and examination of animals and animal products for export. The VET and Livestock Development Unit also provides animal drugs and other medications through it's Veterinary Store located at the Botanical Gardens.
